Jean-Baptiste and Igor are childhood friends who "grew up between the wide open spaces of Brittany, the Alps and the city". It is during a weekend in Brittany that the whole story begins! The two friends made a sad observation: the beaches are littered with plastic waste: "We realized that the reason for the problem, we carried it on us. More than 60% of the plastic produced is destined for the textile industry". Jean-Baptiste and Igor then thought of a way to act against this distressing situation. They launched their joint project: O.Slow, a brand of outerwear made from recycled waste.
The first product of the brand is a recycled and recyclable raincoat. "The impertinent" is available in four colors: red, blue, yellow and khaki. It protects from bad weather while giving style to the person who wears it. Made in Europe, the idea is to make it a "reference in eco-design of clothing".
O.Slow has decided to donate 1% of its turnover to the Surfrider Foundation Europe. The latter acts for the protection of the oceans through several types of interventions: collection of aquatic waste, development of the coastline, etc.
